Competitive Soccer for Dedicated Players
The Travel Soccer Program at Franklin Square Soccer Club is designed for players who are ready to train at a higher level, compete across Long Island, and represent our community with pride. Open to boys and girls ages 8 to 18, our travel teams participate in structured, competitive leagues that challenge players to grow technically, physically, and mentally. Travel soccer is ideal for athletes who show strong commitment, passion for the game, and a desire to take their skills beyond intramural play.

Boys Travel Soccer
Franklin Square Soccer Club offers competitive Boys Travel Teams across multiple age groups. Teams train throughout the year, compete in LIJSL divisions, and participate in tournaments that match their skill level.
Girls Travel Soccer
Our Girls Travel Teams represent Franklin Square with skill, teamwork, and confidence. Girls Travel focuses on building complete players who can compete strongly in their league divisions while enjoying the camaraderie.
Program Overview
Travel teams compete in the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL) and other regional leagues. Players attend multiple practices each week and participate in league games, tournaments, and seasonal training sessions. Teams are formed through tryouts, which evaluate player skill level, effort, and potential for development. Our volunteer coaches are trained, dedicated, and focused on helping every athlete reach their highest potential.

Tryouts and Team Placement
Tryouts for travel soccer are held seasonally.

- Potential for development
Players will be notified of team placement shortly after the tryout period.

Franklin Square Soccer Club proudly partners with Royal Sporting Group to bring professional-level coaching, advanced training methods, and proven player development programs to youth soccer players across Long Island.
League Affiliation
Franklin Square Soccer Club competes in top-level youth soccer leagues that support player development and competitive growth across Long Island and beyond. Our teams primarily compete in the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL), while select Franklin Square Raiders travel teams also compete in the EDP League, allowing players to experience higher levels of competition and development opportunities when appropriate.
