Lil' Kickers Soccer Program
A Fun Introduction to Soccer for Ages 2-3
The Lil Kickers Program at Franklin Square Soccer Club is the perfect first step for young children who are just starting to discover the game of soccer. Our goal is to create a positive, fun, and energetic environment where every child can learn, play, and build confidence — both on and off the field. This beginner program focuses on basic soccer skills, team interaction, and motor development, all taught through creative games and activities that keep kids engaged and smiling.
Program Overview
The Lil Kickers Program is designed for boys and girls ages 2 to 3, with sessions led by experienced volunteer coaches who understand how to make learning fun. Each session helps children develop coordination, balance, and basic ball-handling skills while encouraging teamwork and listening skills.

Franklin Square Soccer Club proudly partners with Royal Sporting Group to bring professional-level coaching, advanced training methods, and proven player development programs to youth soccer players across Long Island.
What Your Child Will Learn
The Lil Kickers curriculum uses interactive games and small group activities to introduce the fundamentals of soccer.
Children will learn:
- How to dribble and control the ball
- Basic passing and shooting techniques
- Following directions and working with teammates
- The joy of playing in a team environment
Parent Involvement
We encourage parents to be part of their child’s soccer experience! Cheer them on, celebrate small victories, and watch as your child learns, plays, and develops new skills each week. Parents will receive updates on schedules, field locations, and special events before each season begins.
