The Girls Travel Soccer Program at Franklin Square Soccer Club is designed for motivated athletes who are ready to take their game to the next level. Our girls teams compete across Long Island, train with committed volunteer coaches, and develop the skills, confidence, and teamwork needed to succeed both on and off the field.
Program Overview
Girls Travel teams participate in the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL) and other competitive tournaments throughout the year. Players attend multiple weekly practices and league games during the Fall and Spring seasons, with optional winter training available.

Tryouts and Team Placement
Teams are formed through seasonal tryouts, and players are evaluated on skill level, effort, coachability, and overall potential for development.
During evaluations, coaches look for:

- Long-term development potential
Families will be notified of team placement after the tryout process is complete.

Franklin Square Soccer Club proudly partners with Royal Sporting Group to bring professional-level coaching, advanced training methods, and proven player development programs to youth soccer players across Long Island.
League Affiliation
Franklin Square Soccer Club competes in top-level youth soccer leagues that support player development and competitive growth across Long Island and beyond. Our teams primarily compete in the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL), while select Franklin Square Raiders travel teams also compete in the EDP League, allowing players to experience higher levels of competition and development opportunities when appropriate.
